Job Objective:
Assist Parts Department Manager with parts operations within the dealership to maximize return on investment.

Responsibilities include:
- Develop, communicate, enforce and monitor effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. Including maximized use of all order discount programs.
- Assist in creating annual Parts Department goals and budget, in alignment with the organization's financial and operational objectives.
- Assist in developing and executing Parts Department marketing plan.
- Conduct a perpetual/annual physical inventory of all parts and related inventories.
- Submit all parts warranty and return claims within the required time frame to receive maximum credit.
- Maintain all department tools and equipment in good working order.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience inventory management /Parts Department operations a plus.
- 2-year post high school degree, 4-year degree a plus.
- Strong computer skills, ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- Ability to speak effectively one-on-one and within a group.
- Basic understanding of financial principles relative to Parts Department operations.
- Working understanding of business financials, a plus.
- Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.

- Ability to get around the dealership and grounds for various tasks.
- The employee would normally lift or move 10 lbs., frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lifts or move up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to tolerate up and down movement with bending or stooping including reaching above and below shoulder height with arms and hands.
- Ability to be on one's feet for extended periods of time.
- Ability to climb a ladder with the ability to carry an object while climbing.
- Ability to operate equipment or other power equipment as necessary.
- Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs. of force.
