Features

ULTIMATE VERSATILITY

Whether you’re in search of a basic utility tractor to haul wagons and rake hay, or a daily workhorse to feed the cows and scrape the barnyard, a T4 tractor can easily be equipped to meet your needs.

CLEAN AND EFFICIENT POWER

Your T4 tractor’s F5D engine benefits from a Cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (CEGR) system with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) for Tier 4A emission compliance.

THE DEFINITION OF DAILY DRIVER

Make no mistake, a T4 tractor is quite capable of being your daily driver, and it all starts with your comfort.

A GREENER SOLUTION THAT PUTS MORE GREEN

With CEGR, your engine also has a common rail fuel-injection system.

ENGINE

COMMON RAIL IS COMMON SENSE
A utility tractor needs to have power, and a new T4 will certainly give you that. This 3.4L (207 cubic-inch) turbocharged F5D engine provides you with responsive power. This engine utilizes a high pressure common rail fuel injection system to enhance combustion, which is crucial for lowering emissions for Tier 4A compliance. New Holland introduced common rail to the agriculture industry in 2003. Today, these enhanced engines are the latest generation to reap the rewards of this technology, optimizing performance and quietness significantly in comparison to the previous Tier 3 NEF engines.

EXCEPTIONAL FUEL ECONOMY
The Tier 4A F5D engine continues the New Holland legacy of best-in-class fuel economy. To put it simply, you maintain performance while controlling your fuel bill at the same time. In addition, maximum power is achieved at a mere 1,900 RPM and is available up to 2,300 RPM, which is typical for work applications. A flatter torque curve throughout the optimum range provides you with operational flexibility.

KEEP GOING IN DIFFICULT CONDITIONS
When you ask for more power, your F5D engine will give it to you with an enormous torque backup of 35%. So, when you’re working in demanding conditions, like round baling high-moisture hay in uneven swaths, you’ll maintain both your forward speed and PTO speed while these large portions are fed into your baler.

CLEAN ENERGY LEADER
In order to fulfill Tier 4A emissions standards, F5D engines are equipped with a Cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (CEGR) system and a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). Rest assured, Fiat Power Train (FPT) has ample experience with CEGR and DPF on passenger cars and commercial light-duty trucks. CEGR is the wise choice for the T4 tractors because it keeps their physical dimensions small, which is what you expect from a utility tractor. CEGR also enhances engine density up to 36 HP per liter of displacement because fuel injection and CEGR are electronically monitored. Finally, the cooling requirements and costs associated with installing a CEGR system on a smaller engine are inherently lower, making this system a smart choice.

TRANSMISSION

SMART SHIFTING
Regardless of the transmission you choose, you receive a smart control layout that enables you to easily shift through your gears and ranges.

12X12 POWER SHUTTLE
The 12X12 transmission with power shuttle is perfect for general applications. For instance, this transmission is ideal for loader work because it has a great mix of speeds combined with an ergonomic power shuttle, making shuttling between forward and reverse a breeze.

12X12 MECHANICAL SHUTTLE
This base transmission is perfect for get-on-and-go simplicity and finding the speeds you need for a variety of different implements. This transmission features a left hand mechanical shuttle located on the steering column and a synchronized gear lever and unsynchronized range lever on the right hand side of the platform. The max speed of this base transmission is 19-mph.

20X20 POWER SHUTTLE WITH CREEPER
The 20X20 power shuttle transmission with a creeper is perfect for specialty crops where going slow is important. Combined with the ergonomic power shuttle, this transmission is well-suited for planting and harvesting vegetables by hand. Combined with the optional 25-mph (40-kph) top speed option, you can take your time in the field and then quickly cruise down the road back home or on to the next field.

OPTIONAL 25-MPH (40-KPH) GROUND SPEED
For operators with a 4WD front axle who need to get down the road faster, an optional 25-mph transmission is available on all models.

NEW 24X24 DUAL COMMAND™WITH POWER SHUTTLE
With the Dual Command™ transmission you revolutionize the way you think about shifting gears. The gearshift lever provides two quick shifting functions to reduce operator fatigue and increase productivity. First, it allows for Hi-Lo speeds in each of the four gears using push-buttons on the side of the lever. Secondly, a PowerClutch button on the back side of the lever allows you to shift between any of the gears in any of the three ranges without clutching with your foot. An added bonus is the standard speed of 25-mph, helping you get to the job or back home more quick

40X40 DUAL COMMAND™ CREEPERWITH POWER SHUTTLE
The 40x40 Dual Command™ creeper transmission is available to provide the Hi-Lo and PowerClutch features at speeds as slow as 0.15-mph. A simple lever on the left-hand side console of the cab shifts the transmission into and out of the creeper gears, allowing you to get the job done in the field while still being able to get from one location to another quickly with a top speed of 25-mph.

POWER SHUTTLE
Dual Command™ transmissions come with an electrohydraulic shuttle lever designed to enhance your efficiency. When you shuttle forward or backward, this lever conveniently returns to the central rest position allowing for quick and easy direction changes. To put the tractor in neutral, simply press the button on the end of the lever. Additionally, the shuttle lever has two different aggressiveness settings to tailor the tractor’s forward/reverse transition to your preference or the job at hand.
