Excellent tank design for perfect weight distribution
With the AEON, we have outdone ourselves in the search for maximum driving stability.

We have set out to refine the shape of the tanks with an objective to prevent sloshing liquid from disturbing the machine’s balance while on the move. The AEON comes in four sizes: 4200, 5200, 6000, and 7000 litres. Each size is designed to meet specific requirements of the farming operation. The result is a novel design with a wedgeshaped front, this guarantees complete tank emptying, even in hilly terrain.

Perfect weight distribution is achieved with dual RinseTanks fitted on both sides of the sprayer towards its front to keep weight on the drawbar. By transferring weight to the tractor, better traction is achieved towards the end of spraying. Add to this the sprayer’s excellent width-to-length ratio, and longer booms will never be a problem. The AEON offers fantastic boom stability, even at high speed.

With its perfectly placed low centre of gravity and strong chassis, the AEON will stand every test of durability.

Full suspension
Sprayers often operate in rough terrains and conditions – and the AEON is the epitome of toughness. It is standard supplied with full suspension to protect all mechanical components and for incomparable operator comfort and safety, even at high speed. A completely new addition is the hydraulic suspension of the axle centre to ensure steady boom movements.

Both the TechZone and the WorkZone have protective covers that swing upwards to provide the operator with an illuminated, covered space for work in all kinds of weather.

The TechZone – easy to control and service
The TechZone, on the right side of the sprayer, gives easy access to the isolated spray circuit, its large-dimension filters and the second pump.

FlexCapacity pump
This extra pump boosts the combined flow capacity to 450 l/min, allowing for high application rates without impairing agitation. Similar to the main pump, it is a HARDI trademark diaphragm pump – robust and easy to service.

Large-dimension filters

• The HARDI EasyClean filter is a high-capacity suction filter.
• The HARDI CycloneFilter is a unique, self-cleaning pressure filter, providing high efficiency without limiting flow. Combined with standard 22 mm stainless steel boom lines, it ensures optimum spray distribution at high application speeds or volumes.

TurboFiller – Fast and efficient mixing

The shape of the hopper and its special TurboDeflector at the bottom create a cyclone effect to incorporate even the most difficult-to-mix compounds.

ComfortTrack

ComfortTrack wheel steering

Equipped with ComfortTrack wheel steering, the AEON will always track the tractor’s rear wheels, even on tight turns, eliminating excess crop damage. The sprayer’s compact design allows for a large steering angle of 27°. The combination of ComfortTrack and full suspension secures a small turning radius of only 6.3 m along with perfect boom position, also when turning on the headland.

ComfortTrack turns the wheels, not the axle, and the long mudguards follow the wheels, keeping the nozzles clean in dry and wet conditions. 

The AEON allows for large-diameter wheels with big footprints for better load distribution and less soil compaction. With 520/85R46 tyres, the axle clearance is 81 cm.

PulseSystem

Full integration with HARDI TWIN system

Together with the TWIN system, which already has best-in-class drift reduction and penetration characteristics, the HARDI PulseSystem is an essential additional step forward in controlling where pesticides are deposited directly from the driver’s seat.

Combining two innovative drift-reducing technologies, HARDI has developed an application system with the potential to deliver the least amount of drift on the market.

Wide flow-rate with one nozzle size

By opening and closing the nozzles, the HARDI PulseSystem can keep the nozzles open from 30-100% at the same pressure flow while ensuring the droplet size is unaffected. Therefore, the same nozzle can be used at several different driving speeds.

At the same time, drift is minimised while the flow rate is optimised, as the most optimal droplet size can be maintained, unlike a conventional system where more drift will occur the more liquid you try to squeeze through the nozzles.

Reduce chemical consumption and environmental impact with CurveControl

Thanks to the CurveControl function, chemicals are saved, and the environmental impact is reduced in fields with many curves or when spraying around windmill towers or remises. Here, a minimum of spray liquid is applied at the inside and full flow, where the boom runs fast at the outer wings. This automatically prevents over and under-dosing.

• The solenoid valve turn the flow to the nozzles on and off, 20 times a second to control their flow

Automatic switching on and off individual nozzles

In addition, the PulseSystem works with a single nozzle on/off – on a 36 m boom, all 72 nozzles are open and closed on nozzle level. This can be done, for example, via digital application maps. The spray job can be done in small spots, the spot size depends on the spray width of the nozzle and a speed-related security level, which is set up to open the nozzle early enough to hit the target. Depending on the amount of weed spots in the field, at the time of application, the saving potential is up to 90% compared to a complete broad spray of the field.

The HARDI PulseSystem is supplied for the conventional DELTA FORCE boom on AEON and NAVIGATOR, as well as the TWIN boom on AEON.
